Hoop Dance Classes Planning an Event? Give the Gift that Keeps on Giving
Hoop Move of the Season: This move will not only exercise your arms but will also stimulate your brain. Stand in your basic stance and imagine moving your hand in an Infinity pattern (sideways Bring the hoop up and over crossing the hoop down to the opposite side and back up to the first side and then repeating. Each time the hoop comes down it crosses to the opposite side and continues in this motion. Watch your hand holding the hoop and notice the Infinity pattern it is following. As you become comfortable with this move you can transfer the hoop to the other hand by passing it off directly in front of you. You can add variations to this move like side-stepping for a more aerobic approach. The Infinity and movements such as these are fun and effective ways to help integrate body and mind and have been proven to bring rapid and often dramatic improvements in concentration, memory, reading, writing, organizing, listening, physical coordination and more. It’s the motion of repeatedly crossing over to both sides of the body that stimulates the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Spend at least 10 minutes before you go to school or work a few mornings a week, hoop it up and play with the Infinity move for a few minutes. Notice the difference. You will feel more energized, alert and happy.
Goodbye For Now
